After making viewers endure last week’s “The Men Tell All” episode and even more Brayden (ugh!), “The Bachelorette” Season 20 comes to a close with a three-hour episode Monday, Aug. 21. Let’s hope Charity Lawson, who seems to deserve a great guy, chooses wisely.
(How to watch: “The Bachelorette” airs its Season 20 finale at 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 21, on ABC. No cable or antenna? You can live stream the show on Fubo, which offers a free trial. After it airs, you can also watch the episode streaming on demand on Hulu.)
As viewers know, last time we saw Charity and the remaining men, she had sent Xavier home, which left only Dotun and Joey still in the thick of things. But when Aaron, who Charity had sent home earlier, when she made what turned out to be an ill-advised decision to keep Xavier instead of him, showed up, Charity was left with a dilemma.
Now, there are three men again trying to woo Charity. Here’s how the ABC synopsis describes what we can expect: “It’s a crucial week in Fiji as Charity’s journey to find lifelong love concludes. After picking up where things left off with three men vying for her heart, Charity decides who will meet her family during a tense rose ceremony. Torn between two men whom she sees a future with, Charity seeks input from her family on the decision that will change her life forever.”
Two men? Does that mean Aaron gets another heave-ho? Since they have to fill up that three-hour time slot, viewers will also see Charity joining host Jesse Palmer in front of a live studio audience “to watch her final dates and the shocking conclusion of her journey.”
And just to keep the padding plumped, Monday’s show will also feature the newest Bachelor making his debut, and a sneak peek from the new season of the ever-cringeworthy “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Who will Charity choose? Who will the next Bachelor be? How many ominous comments will Jesse make about Charity’s journey? Tune in tonight for the three-hour “Bachelorette” to find out.
“The Bachelorette” Season 20 finale airs at 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 21 on ABC.
