Justin Timberlake's DWI arrest cop identified as 'over-aggressive' rookie - Page Six

The young policeman who was unaware he pulled over pop star Justin Timberlake for allegedly drunk driving earlier this week has been identified.

The 23-year-old officer is Michael Arkinson, according to a Sag Harbor, NY, prisoner report obtained by the Daily Mail Saturday.

A Long Island, NY, native — who was previously pulled over by the Gen Z policeman — described him to the outlet as an “over-aggressive” rookie.

“I think Justin Timberlake was a victim of over-aggressive Sag Harbor police,” the individual, identified only as Spencer in the story, said.

Spencer claimed Arkinson, who reportedly turns 24 this month, previously stopped him for doing a U-turn when no one was around — but ultimately let him go with a warning.

“It was off season, and no one was around,” the driver further insisted. “It was a d–khead move. I felt like he pulled me over just for the sake of doing it.”

Spencer reportedly came in contact with Arkinson again after he got pulled over for talking on his cell phone, which he alleged was on speaker at the time.

“I thought he would give me a break, and I was driving less than 25mph trying to get to the Y in East Hampton,” Spencer said. The disgruntled New Yorker said he ended up being hit with a $145 ticket.

Locals to Long Island’s ritzy Hamptons neighborhoods have reportedly nicknamed Arkinson “the Sag Harbor Nazi” and a “little red-headed dips–t.”

Arkinson, who is also a native of that borough, attended South Hampton High School before playing lacrosse at Roger Williams University.

He was reportedly promoted to a full-time Sag Harbor officer this March after graduating from the police academy in 2022.

Page Six reached out to Arkinson and his police department for comment but did not immediately hear back. Timberlake’s rep declined to comment.

Earlier this week, we reported that Arkinson had no idea who the 43-year-old Grammy winner was during their interactions.

“Justin said under his breath, ‘This is going to ruin the tour,'” a source told us Tuesday. “The cop replied, ‘What tour?’ Justin said, ‘The world tour.'”

Timberlake was booked at the Sag Harbor Police Department just after midnight on Tuesday after getting pulled over for allegedly driving through a stop sign and swerving.

He was charged with one count of driving while intoxicated, plus given tickets for ignoring a stop sign and failing to stay in a proper lane.

The “Mirrors” singer was spotted leaving court Tuesday morning in sunglasses and a black baseball cap.
