In case you missed it, Timothée Chalamet basically confirmed that Tom Holland is Zendaya's celebrity crush and the feeling may be reciprocated. After Timothée and Zendaya's "BFF Test" Buzzfeed interview, fans went into a frenzy on social media and shared their reactions to the interaction. Tom and Zendaya's friendship has given fans big "will they or won't they" energy since the first Spider-Man film, so to have some sort of confirmation is huge.
After some took to Twitter to share their thoughts, one brilliant fan (and dare I say pop culture historian) brought back a clip of Tom from a 2017 interview. During the Pop Buzz interview, Tom says that Zendaya was his first-ever celebrity crush, and I have honestly lost any ability to chill.
Of course, the TikTok cuts off right before Tom laughs it off and says he's kidding... or is he? The interview took place during a press tour for Spider-Man: Homecoming, so odds are Tom and Zendaya were still only pals at the time. "Um, Zendaya," Tom said before admitting that his first-ever celebrity crush was actually Friends star Jennifer Aniston.
Joke or not, this was truly a full circle moment in the Tomdaya relationship timeline and you cannot convince me otherwise.
